A few months ago we had the pleasure of welcoming Conde Nast Russia Glamour Magazine’s  Fashion Director, Oksana On and her editorial team to Hong Kong where they shot two main fashion stories with Richard Ramos.

Two very hot days that left the team with comical tan lines as well as some beautiful images.

BEHIND THE SCENES WITH…REEBOK ULTRALITE

Some dream of running away to join the circus, or having the ability to float above the ground.
Fast Management photographer Jean-Louis Wolff got to play with this idea with artists that have indeed done both!
Hong Kong based Reebok Asia Pacific wanted Le Cirque du Soleil to advertise their new line of super light shoes, and Jean-Louis’ past experience working with circus artists helped with this job. In order to create the illusion of weightlessness, Jean-Louis planned out floating poses that required minimum support without relying on heavy post-production retouching.
Cirque du Soleil artists from nearby Macau took the jetfoil fast ferry over to the shoot location at the Hong Kong stadium on a very cold December day.
Here are some candid behind the scenes images from the day.

BEHIND THE SCENES…LAVAZZA

Posted on Nov 12, 2012 in Behind the scenes, Campaigns, Film | No Comments
 Always fashionable and using the best fashionable photographers, next year’s Lavazza calendar turns the focus back on the photographers, asking them for self portraits. With a Lavazza cup of course. They’re pretty much what you’d expect from each, Elliot Erwitt’s is silly, Annie Liebovitz in gumboots…Having being awarded the honour of shooting the complete 2007 Lavazza Calendar, Eugenio says the following of his self portrait for the 2012 edition;

“The story I want to tell is of an encounter between two cultures – Spanish and Italian – by using the two legends: Don Quijote and Lavazza. A mixture of story-telling and history, fantasy and reality, the surreal and the real. You know, when you daydream like ‘El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote” you have to keep your eyes wide open. Maybe with a good coffee”.

Look out for Eugenio’s transformation into Don Quijote in the behind the scenes video to be posted in the coming days.

The team from the Shangri-La’s SHANG Magazine asked if Dan Pak could carry out a fashion shoot for them in Delhi and thus commenced the adventure.

As part of our shoot, we managed to secure the famous Red Fort for part of the shoot but somehow did not realize that also included on the rental fee would be a crowd of curious gazers that kept multiplying.

Being the largest Chinese administrative region and spanning over 1.6 million km2 with borders to Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, we had plenty of free space to choose from our stunning location.
