At Fast Management, we are often asked how the ideas from our artists come about and how these eventually become a fully finished image or series of images. In this example, Eric Dover, Fast Management’s award winning creative director and long standing collaborator of our photographer Eugenio Recuenco, worked on the art direction for their SUPERHERO shoot for the Lavazza Calendar.Eric Dover created detailed drawings of the ideas he has with Eugenio of a superhero universe that would act as the setting for their shoot. From the environment down to the detailed and unique costumes that the protagonists would be wearing on the shoot was carefully drawn out to communicate to the client their vision prior to approval and eventual shooting.Indeed a very lengthy process one may say, but when we firmly consider photography to be an art form and our photographers to be artists these efforts that we firmly to be necessary to achieve what we produce.
